On Turning 23 and Making Time

So last week marked my 23rd Birthday (gawd I’m old) and over the past year I have achieved so much – I passed my driving test, started studying a degree which I love and managed to travel quite a bit with the best guys around. Yes, I am so proud of what I have achieved and wouldn’t take it back for the world, however there’s one thing which has really gotten to me recently.
Over the last few years of being at uni and working part time I have found myself repeating the phrase “I’m too busy” far too often. I am a naturally hard working person and have always been that way but I cant help but feel that the “I’m too busy” curse has gotten me a little under the thumb.
So as of this month I have decided that 2016 is going to be the year of “making time”, time for trying new things, time for taking risks, time for catching up with friends and last but not least – time for blogging. I’ve been reading blogs for years now and love the thought of creating my own space where I can share my thoughts with the blogging community, however I’ve always been put off the idea because I’ve been “too busy”. In the past I have created a few blog sites for university projects etc but I didn’t feel that they were very … me. So this blog post marks my first official step to making time for things that I love and conquering the “too busy” curse. So here goes…
Do any of you feel the same way? I would really appreciate any tips and tricks you have for getting over the “Too Busy” curse!
